This is the "Hirado Shonzui Sansuiga Gokaku-bachi" (Five-Sided Bowl with Auspicious Blue and White Landscape Painting) from Mikawachi-yaki Kiln Hirado Yusho Gama. It is a magnificent, labor-intensive piece, entirely hand-painted with the traditional Shonzui patterns of Mikawachi on the entire surface (front and back), and a landscape painting in the center of the front. It is a very valuable work, especially now that there are fewer artisans who can paint landscape paintings. In the image, the landscape painting in the center appears yellow due to the influence of light, but the actual color is closer to image 10.
