The text, which focuses on straightforward explanations, and Koji Suzuki's illustrations, which are based on the complementary colors of green and red and have a magical, wild feel, match very well. Children's eyes are sure to be glued to the pages, especially those depicting the powerful images of ghosts and spirits that seem to leap out of the screen, as well as the amulets to keep ghosts away and the spells to exorcise them.
