It features a calm color scheme based on Kaga's five colors and realistic floral patterns, creating an elegant kimono like a delicate Japanese painting. Kazuhiro Teranishi ~ Born in Kanazawa City in 1940, he was the official dyer of the Kaga clan, and has received numerous awards. He is a Kaga Yuzen artist known for his pale and gentle colors. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Delicate and carefully drawn on the pale beige fabric characteristic of Kaga Yuzen are flower paintings, a folding screen, a kunoeko (an incense burner for scenting clothes), and tanzaku (strips of paper) with bamboo grass, making it an elegant tomesode (formal kimono). It has a matching lining (tomohakkake), one family crest of a drooping wisteria, and a beautiful wide collar.
