Yokoyama Castle, built by Nagamasa Azai, is a historically significant spot, also near the birthplace of Mitsunari Ishida. The following three items are provided: 1. Mitsunari-ko's Goshuin (temple stamp) "Daigichi Daiichidai-man" 2. Yokoyama Castle's Goshuijin (castle stamp) 3. Materials related to the relationship between Mitsunari Ishida and Ishida Town Yokoyama Castle is where Kinoshita Tokichiro (Hideyoshi Hashiba) was ordered to guard by Nobunaga Oda after achieving merit in the Battle of Anegawa. He also made a great contribution in the attack on Odani Castle, built Nagahama Castle, and opened a castle town. Kannon-ji Temple, famous for the "Three Bowls of Tea" where Hideyoshi, who came for falconry, met Mitsunari, is located at the foot of the opposite side of Yokoyama. Also, Yokoyama Castle, which became the first step for Hideyoshi's rapid unification of the country and becoming Kanpaku (chief advisor to the Emperor), came to be called the "Success Castle."
