This is a Boosey & Hawkes Regent 2 cornet. I received it from a friend, but I haven't had much opportunity to use it, so I'd like to pass it on to someone who will. I'm selling it to organize my equipment. It was purchased in 1982, making it a vintage instrument, but it has been well-maintained and is in good condition, ready to play immediately. The tuning slides are not stuck, and the pistons move smoothly. The silver plating is also in beautiful condition, but please note that there is a small dent on the bell near the mouthpiece receiver. There is also a very small dent on the bell itself (likely from the 3rd slide being removed). Considering its age, I think it's in excellent condition, and the case is as expected. The original mouthpiece is included. Would this be suitable for a change-up instrument? Thank you for your consideration.
