This is a plate by Tomo Saito, who creates overglaze enamel porcelain featuring motifs of sarasa (printed cotton) and karako (Chinese children). This artist's work is usually difficult to obtain, and I purchased it immediately. However, it's too cute to use, so I'd like to pass it on to someone who will use it often.
