-- Wooden Noh mask featuring a design with a white beard and a smiling expression. This is a Ko-jo mask, created by Norifusa Sugawara, known as a contemporary Noh mask maker. It is one of several masks that were displayed on the glass shelf in the living room, purchased or received from my father, who passed away last year, and who was friends with Sugawara. I was told that when Sugawara held an exhibition, my father, a carpenter, made and provided the frames for the display. The condition isn't perfect, but there are no noticeable damages or scratches.
