I purchased this rod new almost 10 years ago and used it only once on the rocky shore. I intended to use it for high-class fish, but I only used it that one time. After that, I stored it in a separately purchased rod case. After using it on the rocky shore, I wiped it down with a wet towel before storing it, but there is some rust on the first guide, the rear rope attachment ring, and the reel seat. The images show the rod after a light wipe-down. One side of the Shimano logo on the rod belt is peeling off. The mesh pattern on the resin near the rear rope attachment ring is likely from the rod belt. There are scratches on the resin expansion part of the #1 guide attachment, likely from rubbing inside the base rod. There may be other overlooked issues. Please understand that this is a used item, despite having only been used once. The original plastic box is not included. I will wrap the rod in bubble wrap, process a cardboard box, and then pack and ship it. Thank you.
