This long shank model is currently difficult to find. - Model: Schilke 59 - Material: Gold-plated - Size: For bass trombone - Design: Round cup, long shank The inner cup diameter is 28.52mm, equivalent to a Bach 1-1/4. ● Although it's a long shank, the shank taper is the same as a 5/100 Bach, etc. Because the shank is long, it inserts further. It should fit perfectly in Holton trombones that were popular in the past, and Yamaha trombones (8130, 830) that are not current products (835). (Reference: Remington 3/100, Bach 5/100.) This long shank model is now less common. I highly recommend it to those who use Yamaha or Holton trombones. There are some scratches on the shank from use, but I think it's a very clean piece.
