I enjoy making bags from scratch using vegetable-tanned nubuck leather, and this is a tote bag I made for myself. This bag was made from undyed calfskin, then thoroughly treated with horse oil and polished with homemade beeswax wax. Minor scratches can be removed and made less noticeable by gently rubbing with a soft cloth or a clean palm. Unlike the tote bag I previously listed, this one has only been used twice. By "used," I mean it was only used to carry items like a wallet in the car. There are slight color changes and scuffs on the corners. Also, it has been exposed to sunlight in an indoor sunroom to promote aging, resulting in a color that is a mix of brown and light pink. It is still in the process of aging, so please enjoy changing it to your own unique color. It was made from the same half-cut leather as the off-white nubuck leather tote bag I listed previously.
