This is a simple tea shelf that was mainly used for a portable brazier in a Japanese-style room when I was diligently practicing tea ceremony at the Urasenke school, as the tea room was not yet completed. It has bamboo nails to prevent wobbling. Made of paulownia wood, there are some minor scratches and scuffs from use, but there are no stains, and it is a shelf that is perfectly usable for practice. This is a very rare tea shelf. It is believed to be a work of Kousai Kobayashi of Fugetsu Kobo.
