There are no noticeable stains on the fabric, but there is a black stain on the part that goes into the obi (Picture 3). This was used for male dance. It is traditional Sendai-hira, so it is suitable for celebratory dances. Also, since men traditionally wear hakama, you can wear it for a regular New Year's visit to a shrine.
