This is from a guitar I had a long time ago (about 40 years). The last three digits of the number are hidden. Looking back, I regret what a foolish thing I did... but at the time, I wasn't concerned with keeping things original. I enjoyed modifying the body and making various changes, and I didn't even keep the original parts. During a house clean-up due to moving, various parts turned up from all over the place. This plate is one of them. The original neck screws that were removed at the time are also included. (These mounting screws alone are rare and expensive.) It's been almost 60 years, but it still has a shine. How about using it for age-matching finishing for those who have an old body or neck?
