The soles have cushioning, and the material is mesh on the sides and feels durable and water-repellent on the front. My child loves black, so I didn't particularly care about the season, but I think they're more suitable for autumn and winter than for midsummer. If you're a Star Wars fan or if you want shoes that are different from your friends', how about these? They are a bit bulky, so we used them mainly for outings on weekends, not for school.
