The shape is very cute, and they have a bit of width, so they could be worn as full-length pants when shorter, and as cropped pants as the child grew, allowing for long-term wear. Even a child who usually only wears easy-to-move-in UNIQLO leggings wore these pants often, suggesting they are also easy to move in. They have been worn a lot, so they are probably faded compared to when they were purchased, and there is a sense of use, but since they are denim, I personally think they can still be worn.
