Please refrain from washing it in a washing machine as it may lose its shape. There are individual differences in the pattern of the fabric. We sell them at a very low price, but we make them carefully without cutting corners. The mattress has three layers of quilted cotton to give it thickness. The comforter is sewn at the four corners to prevent the filling from shifting. These are toys for children, so we have considered durability, and my daughter has been playing with this futon set for over 5 years.
