PENTAX SuperTakumar 55mm F1.8 Early Model with Nikon F-mount adapter, sample photos included This is a Super Takumar lens made by Asahi Pentax. It has been stored in a dehumidified storage. *Nikon F-mount adapter ring included. This is a popular M42 mount old lens. Among them, the early model is valuable because it does not use thorium glass, and it is said that there is no yellowing like that seen in the later models. This lens produces beautiful rainbow-colored flares when shooting into the light. It is recommended for film cameras and also for mirrorless cameras with a mount adapter. (Appearance) Please check the photos as there are some scratches. (Optics) The lens is clean with no haze or fungus. There is some coating wear on the rear periphery, but it is minimal and I don't feel it affects the photos. There is some fine dust, but I believe it does not affect the photos.
