The bottom of the larger bowl has a small chip-like mark. I'm not sure if it was like this from the beginning or if it's a scratch from use. These are very beautiful items, but please only purchase if you are comfortable with them having been used a few times, stored at home for a long time, and having minor scratches or stains.
