Being from a reputable manufacturer, they have a very high-quality feel and build, and I think they are thinning scissors that can be used immediately without any problems. The cutting rate is around 15-20%, and the feel, sharpness, and release are all in excellent condition. I have sharpened them, so I think you can use them right away, but if you are looking for a particular sharpness, please sharpen and adjust them yourself before using.
