This is the Maxon DC-01 digital chorus effect pedal. Those searching for this pedal probably already know, but this unit is more than just a regular chorus. It does produce chorus sounds, but... it can also create a lot of weird sounds, like the "dove" sound and "wobbly" effects. Conversely, it's also good at producing clean sounds with little modulation. There are no issues with the sound, such as noise or crackling. There are some paint cracks starting to appear near the side jacks, but they are still present. The 9V battery compartment cover is missing. Even so, it's a classic pedal from about 40 years ago, so I'd say it's in pretty good condition. If you're looking for radical, unconventional sounds for home recording or live performances, something that won't be like everyone else's, then this is for you!
