This is a layered collar, also known as a Datejime, that was sewn onto an antique kimono. It is a bright, cream-colored yellow. It has a soft texture. I am unsure if it is pure silk or synthetic, but the lining is likely synthetic. I found one stain on the back, but it is not noticeable when worn. As this is not a new item, it is priced affordably. How about it for coming-of-age ceremonies, graduation ceremonies, weddings, concerts, etc.? It would be lovely with Irotomesode, Furisode, Homongi, Tsukesage, or Iromuji kimonos (*^^*)
