It can be used as a fukuro obi (pocket obi), and is a luxurious item that can be used on both sides with an all-over pattern. This is a gorgeous maru obi that evokes the elegance of Heian aristocrats, and is a very beautiful item with luxurious patterns woven throughout the entire obi fabric on both sides.
