I understand that it is unfortunately no longer in production. It has a very stylish look and is also a very easy-to-play guitar. I have confirmed that the preamp lamp lights up when batteries are inserted. Please understand that the output from the amplifier is unstable, sometimes working and sometimes not. It may be a contact issue, but I am not familiar with electronics, so the cause is unknown. A skilled person might be able to fix it easily, but I can't, so I am selling it as is. Another option is to use it purely as an acoustic guitar. The bridge is lifting, and the previous owner has made modifications to the left and right sides of the bridge. There is no buzzing with acoustic extra light gauge strings or electric guitar strings. There are some small dents and scratches here and there, but personally, I think it is in good condition overall. I bought it to play at home easily, and I like the design, but I have accumulated too many guitars, so I am selling it.
