With a long nose and a square toe, these are a very stylish pair. They are a classic wingtip shoe from EG, and the enveloping comfort is truly wonderful. The quality of the uppers is as expected, and combined with careful care, they have a very good luster. The soles have been resoled with a hidden channel and a half-blind stitch, and are in almost new condition. Vintage steel from Eterno, a high-quality steel, has been applied to the toes. There are no cracks, and they are in very good condition, so you can wear them for a long time to come. Edward Green has continued to increase in price in recent years, making it difficult to afford new ones. I think a used pair in this excellent condition is very rare.
