This is a mirror rice cake made from Kobushi wood from Tokachi, Hokkaido. The rice cakes are made from Kobushi wood, and the oranges are made from Hou (Magnolia obovata) wood. All pieces have been impregnated with paint. The natural finish of the wood is preserved. Each piece is handmade. The wood grain will differ from the product in the photo, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item. The size is approximately 8.5cm in diameter and 9cm in height.
