This is a Japanese vintage Aria Pro II Stratocaster, made in 1977 by Matsumoku. It sounds excellent, possibly because it's made with solid wood. The body appears to be two-piece alder, comparable to high-end guitars today. The original catalog states it has a lacquer finish. The neck is straight, with a string height of 2mm on the 6th string and 1.5mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret. The matte finish is also very cool. Includes tremolo arm.
