These coasters were made from leftover flooring material given to me by a carpenter. The wood is Japanese cypress (hinoki), and it has a very pleasant fragrance. The edges have been trimmed with a router. The surface is coated and smooth. The underside has grooves, so cold cups won't stick. The shapes are irregular with slightly rounded corners. There are also some minor scratches. I think they're perfect for use in outdoor settings. These are upcycled items, so they are priced to sell. I hope you find them useful.
