Perhaps due to the dyeing technique, it has a slightly rough feel, and I think it's relatively easy to keep a synthetic fiber obi (sash) in place. I only tried it on at home after cutting the stitches, intending to use it for lessons. I have never worn it outside. Because it's a scattered pattern, it's easy to use for everyday wear to going out. It's convenient to have one with a pattern that's easy to wear.
