The exquisite luster and smooth texture are achieved by polishing the dense fiber layer of the horse's rump. The transparent texture is dyed with aniline dyes to bring out the expression of the grain (the surface of the leather), and the finishing brush dyeing creates an antique atmosphere. The craftsmanship of specialized artisans shines, making each piece a unique, one-of-a-kind item. I purchased this at the time of its release, but I haven't used it much because it's too high-end.
