This is a set of a tablecloth and four napkins from De Witte Lietaer, a long-established luxury textile manufacturer in Belgium. It features a beautiful and elegant damask weave (jacquard weave) design where the ground pattern emerges depending on how the light hits it. This is a deadstock item purchased in the Netherlands over 30 years ago and has been carefully stored in a drawer, unused and in new condition. Due to long-term storage, two of the napkins have several brown stains (oxidation marks), likely from oxidation. Please check the photos. Photos 5 and 6. To avoid losing the new feel or damaging the fabric, we have deliberately not removed the stains or washed them, and are listing them in their current condition. The folding creases will also be left as they are without ironing. Please understand this in advance. As it is made of high-quality linen/cotton, we believe that by soaking it in lukewarm water or boiling it before use, you can remove the stains and enjoy a softer texture.
