High-quality karakui (tuning pegs) made by Mr. Gisei Nakachi, a sanshin craftsman in Uruma City, Okinawa Prefecture. These are very valuable, handcrafted pieces made using the traditional method, without a lathe, and instead using chisels and planes. They are new and unused.
