This DKNY Donna Karan New York top/cut-and-sew was purchased recently upon returning from Guam. It originally cost $49. The color is violet, and rather than being a sleeveless top, the soft fabric drapes slightly over the shoulders and arms. I was told it would make my shoulders look delicate, which is why I bought it. It would look very cute paired with pants, and since Donna Karan designs are very simple, I think it would be suitable for both formal and casual occasions. Although it is a new, unused item, please purchase only if you understand that it has been stored at home in a pet-free, non-smoking environment.
