If you require damage protection, please inform me before purchasing, as this will require an additional shipping fee. ★ The terminals of lead wires often use phosphor bronze or other copper alloys because they are less likely to cause poor contact during use compared to using soft copper. Therefore, if you try to force them in too hard, you may break them off at the base. (Compared to copper, these alloys are harder and less ductile, making them more prone to breaking under impact.) Use pliers to gently insert the terminals, gripping the flat part of the tip or the flat part near the insertion point. Even unused, standard lead wires have different hole diameters at each end. Cartridges and headshells also have different diameter mounting points depending on the manufacturer, so be careful as you may break them during installation. If it's too tight, widen the hole slightly before inserting. I have checked them thoroughly, and the terminals are harder than copper, so it is unlikely that they will break or deform during normal shipping. I have also tested them by dropping them and stepping on them with shoes, and they should be fine unless intentionally damaged. Very rarely, there are cases where people report that they arrived broken or deformed.
