This makes them durable and provides cushioning. They feel good on bare feet and can be worn warmly with toe socks. Washable: Soak in water first, scrub with a sponge, or put in a laundry net and wash in the washing machine. Dry for 2-3 days. They will widen and loosen slightly with wear. If the thong loosens, tighten the cord on the underside. The color is a little more orange than in the photo.
