A modern classic that has maintained its position as a high-end overdrive pedal for 20 years since its birth in 2003. In an era when the world was still obsessed with pure TS-type pedals, this pedal was one of the first to break away from that scene and seek a more universal distortion. Specifically, it was designed with the sound of Cesar Diaz's modified Fender Deluxe Reverb in mind. Its circuit is based on the Marshall Blues Breaker (not the amplifier, but the pedal), with carefully tuned constants and key components. It features a fully independent 2-channel design, allowing each channel to be used independently or in combination. Each channel has Volume, Drive, and Tone controls, and internally, there are trimmers to adjust the treble for each channel, as well as DIP switches to switch the distortion mode. The DIP switches allow you to change the clipping method, significantly altering the amount of distortion and volume, and can be set to suit applications such as a booster or a standalone drive pedal.
