The magic of Émile Gallé, the "Master of Light," the leading figure of this movement, continues to live on in Romania, 120 years after his death. After Gallé's death, skilled artisans from his workshop were invited to the Romanian royal family and passed on their advanced techniques. Today, in the Buzau region, there are still glass workshops that continue to preserve the traditional techniques of the time.
