Battery operation confirmed. The dial appears pink in the photos, but it is actually white. Although not noticeable from a distance, there is a red dot below the 1 o'clock position and cracks to the left and right of the 6 o'clock position. I don't think there will be any problems with use. There is no original box or instruction manual.
