It can be worn over the shoulder, or you can hold the chains from both sides like a handbag and carry it on your arm. Also, the bag itself sparkles, making it a perfect accent piece. The bag is softer than I expected, and it holds quite a bit! There are no scratches, but the rings where the chain passes through are slightly worn.
