This is an integrated amplifier released by SONY in 1986, with a list price of ¥128,000 at the time. It's a heavyweight amplifier featuring large, independent left and right transformers mounted on a Gibraltar chassis. It's so heavy (approximately 26kg) that I've decided to sell it because it's become difficult for me to replace or maintain it due to my age, even though I was using it as my main unit. It has an effective output of 120W + 120W (8Ω), and the internal construction is truly representative of audio equipment from the bubble era. This unit was acquired as a refurbished item about 7 years ago, and the power cable has been replaced with a 3-wire type. A plug adapter is required for use with a 2-wire outlet, which can be purchased for around 500 yen. The equalizer amplifier has been repaired with the electrolytic capacitors and op-amps replaced. I have been using it while maintaining it, including replacing the protector lamp. Currently, the protector is releasing normally (red → green lamp), and it produces sound without any crackling. It takes about 20 seconds for the protector to release. Please understand that this is a used item that is nearly 40 years old since its release, and there is a risk of malfunction during transportation or use.
