I used these as my child's first shoes. They were worn until they were outgrown, so there is some wear and tear. The "Peek-a-boo" characters on the inner sole are slightly faded. The band opens up quite a bit, making them very easy to put on, and I'm glad I chose them because they were made to be gentle on the feet.
