This is a Japanese-made Sadowsky, favored by studio musicians. I purchased it new in 2021, the final year of Japanese production. I haven't played it much because I switched to a 5-string bass, and it's been stored at home. I've checked the neck condition and applied fingerboard oil during seasonal changes. The neck is straight, and the truss rod has been tightened about 1/4 turn since I bought it. The frets show virtually no wear. The 70s pickup configuration provides excellent slap tone. The fingerboard is listed as rosewood, but I believe it's Morado (Pau Ferro). It's a dense, high-quality wood. The body is full-size, similar to Fender, and weighs 4.3kg. The body color is Dark Lake Placid Blue, a deep blue that's difficult to capture in photos. It's very close to Mercedes Denim Blue. The electronics have been checked. I've polished the nickel plating to remove tarnish as much as possible, but some remains, so please understand.
