Unused strings removed from a brand new, high-quality Chinese-made wooden bass (contrabass). The Chinese manufacturer exports these strings already installed, but they were removed unused after being imported to Japan, as the instrument's owner replaced them with different strings. (Obtained from an acquaintance involved in this process) Recently, Chinese-made strings are gaining global recognition, and these strings also appear to be high-quality despite their low price. I've actually used these strings on my own wooden bass, and they produce a very bright and clear sound without sounding muffled or muddy. They also have sufficient sustain, allowing for effective glissandos with a satisfying "vwooo" sound, making them enjoyable to play. These strings can be used not only on wooden basses but also on upright basses and silent basses. Although unused, the strings were once installed on a wooden bass, so the product condition is listed as "no noticeable scratches or stains." The winding ends of the strings were curled, making them difficult to use, so I straightened them by hand as much as possible. Shipping will be on days other than Tuesdays and Thursdays.
