This is a Jitte, an antique Japanese weapon. I received it from a family member about five years ago. I have obtained permission to sell it. I was told it is from the Edo period. I am a complete novice when it comes to antique art, but just looking at it makes me feel the history. The handle is decorated. Please see the photos for details.
