In my case, I used them as follows: I had a Rakuten Mobile contract until October 11th in a wooden house, using it as a substitute for a fixed-line connection. I put the Rakuten SIM in the Deco X50-5G 5G and placed it in a location on the second floor where the signal was strong. I placed the Deco X20 on the first floor and used it as a mesh Wi-Fi, connecting my computer and TV to it. I have not used an external antenna, so its operation is unconfirmed (I think it is probably illegal to use in Japan due to radio laws). The TP-Link Deco app is probably required for setup. I did not experience any communication troubles. Setting up the APN/ISP can be troublesome, so setup may take some effort. 1) The TP-Link Deco X50-5G 5G has a scratch on the top, as shown in the photo, but it works without any problems. There is a box, but the packing material inside the box that secures the main unit is missing. The box is slightly crushed because something was placed on top of it when it was empty. 2) The Deco X20 mesh Wi-Fi does not have a box. This has also been initialized, and my TP-LINK ID has been deleted. 3) TP-LINK Tapo P105 Mini Smart Wi-Fi Plug This has also been initialized, and my TP-LINK ID has been deleted. The box is torn because I failed to open it, but the main unit works without any problems. The TP-Link Tapo app is required. For safety reasons, I have mosaicked the MAC address in the images.
