The overall feel is light and airy, so I think it's easy to wear without clinging to the body's lines. It would be cute as a dress with a cardigan, or paired with denim. You could also cinch the waist with a belt to enhance your figure. I think it would also be cute worn open as a light outer layer over a simple T-shirt. The buttons have a lovely seashell design.
