This is a print of a work depicting a red and white book by Hana Akiyama. I purchased it about 10 years ago at IDEE! I am selling it because I am redecorating. It comes with a frame. There are small scratches on the frame, but the artwork itself has never been taken out of the frame (it was in the frame from the time of purchase). The works, which use soft colors and feature motifs such as animals and natural landscapes, are somehow nostalgic and make you feel calm and gentle. They have a mysterious charm, with a comfortable feel that blends seamlessly into a room and a unique expression. Hana Akiyama Illustrator. Born in 1984. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Graphic Design. Completed the Master's Program in Graphic Design at Tama Art University. She creates illustrations for books, advertisements, magazines, websites, packages, CDs, newspapers, etc., and exhibits her works in exhibitions both in Japan and abroad. She has received numerous awards both in Japan and overseas, including the New York ADC Award Silver Prize. She has published the collection of works ""IHATOV"" FARMERS' SONG (2009 PLANCTON) and the picture book "Sock Monkey's Gift" (2010 Kodansha) (Honorable Mention from the Bookbinding and Book Design Competition), etc.
