This is an old Wajima-nuri lacquerware bowl. It's a piece with a beautiful crane maki-e design on a time-honored Hinode-nuri background. The bowl is a large size, and the lid extends to the edge of the body, providing ample capacity. There are some minor scratches, but no major issues. The size is 13.5 cm in diameter and 10 cm in height. Please understand that this is an antique item.
