I washed everything together, intending to wear them, and then tried on one pair. The fading is part of the original design. My child is about 100cm tall and weighs 15kg, and the waist fit perfectly. The length was about 7/10ths length? The elastic in the back of the waist stretches to about 26cm when laid flat. I can't find a size tag, but since it fit my son perfectly, I think it's around 100cm. It's a pretty sturdy denim, and the design is elaborate. The waist has a button and a zipper.
