This is a set of five Kutani-yaki teacups. They were a gift from my parents' home in the 1970s and have been stored in the back of the cupboard for a long time, having been hardly used. I believe the calligraphy is by Gyokusen, who lived in Hirosaki, and that a poem from the Kokin Wakashū is written on them, but I apologize if I am mistaken.
