Royal Worcester, Holy Ribbon cup & saucer. It appears to be a beautiful, unused item. Cup diameter: 8.5 cm Height: 6.5 cm Saucer diameter: 14.5 cm There are various Christmas cups and plates, but this Holy Ribbon has a cute charm. The cup & saucer somehow give off a Catholic feel, perhaps due to the revelation of the holy ribbon (Holy Ribbon)... The gold trim is adorned with 22K gold. Indeed, the garland of green holly leaves with red berries, and the thin green leaves and berries intertwined, seem to create an elegant Christmas atmosphere. This item was manufactured from around 1987 to 2012, so it's not that old of a vintage piece, but this work is truly rare and difficult to find. I, too, searched for the plate for quite some time, but couldn't find one. In the UK, noblesse oblige (nobility obligates) is literally ingrained in the national character, with meanings including vocational and technical support from the original colonial period, and several brand kilns were also producing in Asia. For that reason, many items in the latter half were manufactured in Asia, but this cup & saucer is made in the UK. Royal Worcester was founded in the Worcester region of West England, and in 1789, it was the first in British ceramic history to be granted the Royal warrant by George III, and is the only existing kiln. Although it appears to be unused, I purchased it as a used item. Please understand that it is a vintage item.
